Circle City Corvette Club publishes practical guidance for Indiana Corvette owners, regional enthusiasts, prospective owners and event participants. Our goal is to make drives, shows, maintenance, road trips and community activities easier to plan and more enjoyable.
Accuracy and useful coverage
We aim to answer a clear reader question with specific, useful information. Factual claims should reflect the best relevant information available when an article is prepared. Details that can change—including event dates, routes, road conditions, venue rules, registration requirements, product options and prices—should be checked at drafting time.
Vehicle specifications and Corvette claims are researched using current GM or Corvette information when available. Local coverage relies on appropriate Indiana event, venue and road sources. Articles about club activities, charity events and printed event materials use sources suited to those subjects. Direct and official sources are preferred for current specifications, rules and policies.
Sources, attribution and evidence
Sources should match the claim they support. We attribute outside facts and ideas in context so readers can understand where important information came from. Calculations should include their assumptions and units, while estimates should be presented as estimates rather than settled facts.
Researched explanation, editorial judgment and documented firsthand evidence are not interchangeable. We distinguish factual findings from recommendations and opinion. Hypothetical or generated examples are illustrations, not proof of real-world results. We only describe firsthand testing, measurements, purchases, travel or event experience when that evidence has been documented for the article.
Recommendations and editorial judgment
Recommendations begin with the reader’s actual task: planning a safe club drive, checking an older Corvette, preparing for storage or organizing an event. We explain why a choice may fit, what tradeoffs matter and which details readers should verify for their own vehicle or plans. Our guide to researching original Corvette equipment reflects the evidence-first approach we use for technical ownership coverage.
